Safety, Health and Environment Conference 2009

About Partnership For Success

Each year BAE Systems hold their annual Safety, Health and Environment Conference entitled Partnership for Success. This is the ideal opportunity for BAE Systems staff across both UK and international sites to update themselves on the current issues and problems facing employees at the moment. It features an extensive exhibition featuring key suppliers and service providers running alongside conference presentations from some of the industry’s key figures which makes this the ideal setting for discussion, debate and learning. It also includes a night of dinner, entertainment and networking.

Partnership for Success will be in its eighth year this year and the 2008 event was by far the most successful one to date enjoying record attendance. Delegate numbers have steadily increased year on year; from the 80 delegates that attended in the first year of 2001 to last year’s event with just over 300 attendees.

In line with the increase in delegate attendance is the profile of the event which now has regular attendance from all areas of the business including a range of titles and positions from Directors and Vice Presidents to Advisors and Co-ordinators. Delegates now come from all corners of the world to attend the event and presence from other countries has in fact almost doubled since 2007 with attendance in 2008 from USA, Sweden, South Africa, Australia and Saudi.

The programme has also vastly improved and now attracts a wealth of high profile, motivational and highly respected speakers in the fields of safety, health and environment with the Keynote Address last year being delivered by the Chief Executive Ian King.
